IdentiLynx Cameras
IdentiLynx is an Ethernet based, full-frame digital video camera that, when combined with any EtherLynx line-scan photo-finish camera, produces an integrated photo-finish solution that maximizes the functionality of each technology.
The outputs from the two types of cameras are time synchronized, so that you can move the cursor in the photo-finish window and watch the video jump to the same moment in time, helping you identify race finishers.
IdentiLynx Info
Some camera settings are specific to IdentiLynx cameras. Settings that do not apply are disabled.
- Setup | Contrast: Default value - 0.25; Range - 0.01 to 1.00.
- Parameters | Quality: the standard jpeg quality setting. It has a range of 8-92.
- Note: When setting the quality very high (80 or 85 plus), the frames do not compress much, and the data rate exceeds the camera's capability, causing frames to be dropped.
- Parameters | Frame Height: Select the preferred resolution.
- Parameters | Shutter speed: Select the preferred shutter speed. High shutters speeds produce crisp images of moving objects, but the time may need to be increased in low light conditions.
- Capture | Capture methods: Automatic ( IdentiLynx Motion) is available without the Automatic Capture Mode (ACM) Plug-in. When capture is active, all movement detected by the IdentiLynx camera will be captured.
In addition to the EtherLynx Image Tool Bar functions, IdentiLynx image panes offers useful controls.
