Show Lines Features

FinishLynx can show lines in the Image Zone for split times and finish times as well as where an image has been cropped.

ClosedHOW TO SHOW EVALUATION LINES?

To assist in the evaluation of large fields of competitors, the software can place a line at every position where a time has been entered in the results. This makes it much easier to see which competitors still need to be evaluated.

The choices controlling the use of this feature can be accessed by calling up the Options… dialog from the Image drop-down menu. The feature can be switched on or off and the color of the lines can be altered by entering the required information in the Show Lines fields.

ClosedHOW TO SHOW SPLIT LINES?

When using the LapTime Module, you can display split lines on your FinishLynx image.

  • To do so, follow these steps:
  1. Click Image | Options... from the Menu Bar. The Image Options dialog appears.
  2. Select the color you want your split lines to be displayed as from the Splits drop-down list.
  3. Click Ok.
  • Splits are displayed on the FinishLynx image in the color you selected.
ClosedHOW TO SHOW CROP LINES?

The software can be configured to indicate when portions of the image have been removed by cropping (manual or automatic). Removed image is indicated by a dashed line running from top to bottom of the image.

The choices controlling the use of this feature can be accessed by calling up the Options… dialog from the Image drop-down menu. The feature can be switched on or off and the color of the lines can be altered by entering the required information in the Time Gap Lines fields.
