Image Capture

It goes without saying that capturing image is a key part of achieving fully automatic times with a photo-finish system. FinishLynx is very flexible and allows the operator to capture image in different ways.

ClosedCAPTURE METHODS

Choose the preferred capture method.

  • Manual Capture Manual capture is the standard capture method. See Manual Capture for details.
  • Timed Capture This method allows the operator to pre-program the time when capturing will occur. See Timed Capture for details.
  • Automatic Capture A plug-in is required to use the Automatic Capture Mode. See Automatic Capture Mode (ACM) Plug-in for details.
  • Photo Eye Capture An external photo eye can also be used to trigger the FinishLynx capture function. See Photo Eye Capture for details.
