Backing Up

FinishLynx has the ability to back up all the files in the Event directory to a Backup directory.  This can be on the same computer, on a hard drive on a computer networked to the FinishLynx computer, or on a removable media.

ClosedHOW TO CONFIGURE THE BACKUP FUNCTION?
  1. Click Event | Options... from the Menu Bar. The Event tab of the Options dialog appears.
  2. Click the Browse... button for the Backup Directory:.
  3. Navigate to the directory where all the files from the Event Directory should be backed up.
  4. Click Ok.

ClosedHOW TO BACKUP THE EVENT DIRECTORY?
  • To copy all the files in the Event directory to the Backup directory:
  1. Click File | Backup events from the Menu Bar.
