LapTime Mode Improvements
- The following decoders are now supported as LapTime devices:
- The MYLAPS protocol version 1.1 (TCP/IP Exporter from Toolkit)
- The RRS protocol version 1.5 or greater
NOTE: Select Sync Source Internal unless both the RRS decoder and EtherLynx cameras are GPS synced.

External Sync Improvements
Internal GPS
EtherLynx Vision cameras can now be equipped with an internal GPS to be used by the external sync mode.
To set the External Sync to Internal GPS:
- Turn on the external device and ensure it is set to send a signal every 60 seconds.
- Connect the external device to the Photo Eye A inputs of the connection box.
- Select the camera to be synchronized in the Hardware Control window
- Click . The Camera Settings dialog appears.
- Click to select the Input tab.
- Click to select the Internal GPS radio button in the External Sync: setting.
GPS/BT ACT and LINK LED
The EtherLynx Vision back panel has two LEDs to confirm the external sync status
LED | Behavior | Status |
---|---|---|
LINK | Blink slow amber | Waiting for 'top of minute' signal |
ACT | Solid GREEN | 1 'top of minute' signal received |
LINK | Blink fast amber | Ready to sync |
LINK | Solid GREEN | Synced |
NOTE: With Internal GPS, the suggested 'New time' is already correct (assuming the PC clock is within 30 minutes of GPS time). Simply hit 'Ok' to confirm the sync.
