Export video improvements

Status bar percentage

The status bar progress meter now shows tenths of a percent for 'Export Video' operations that are expected to take a long time:

  • When 500 or more frames are being re-compressed and exported
  • When 5000 or more frames are being exported (but not re-compressed)

 

Optimized recompression

NOTE: Recompression is required when: i) A subset of the entire frame (view) is selected; ii) Overlays are present; iii) Video scale is not 100; iv) The image adjustments are applied; v) Video quality is lower than originally captured.

 

Hit Esc to cancel

The status bar message during 'Export Vdieo' now includes 'Hit Esc to cancel' to remind users the operation can be canceled by hitting the Escape (Esc) key.
